The Carousel has always been a magical and beautiful machine, parading proud animals of all kinds with ornately crafted harnesses, headdresses and costumes under a canopy of lights and laughter. I wanted to capture that magic through the inventive use of collage - using imagery of unique objects to build characters and personalities around a menagerie of interesting creatures.
